Chamarajendra Academy of Visual Arts (CAVA), Mysuru, is a government institution dedicated to preserving the foundations of traditional art while embracing contemporary visual disciplines. Its academic programme in Photography and Photojournalism, integrated within a fine arts institution, is unique in India. Complementing students' creative exploration across diverse disciplines, the workshops strengthen effective communication, portfolio presentation, professional ethics, creative problem solving, and an interdisciplinary understanding of photography as an artistic, documentary, and communicative practice.
